Multimodal route planners in maritime environment
نویسنده
چکیده
Rapid development of information and communication technologies (ICT) enables complete distribution of traveler information to end-users through the whole travel. European intelligent transportation system (ITS) architecture defines traveler information as specific functional area, and it comprises static and dynamic information about transport network condition, traveler information services and support for services which perform collection, storage and management of traffic data for planning transport activities. The purpose of this research is to define the concept of development of multimodal route planners in maritime environment which are based on optimal usage of traveler and traffic data. Endusers should receive complete traveler information for the entire duration of travel. Majority of present projects and studies is focused on road traveler information and services, but multimodal route planners can be extended at maritime environment, which is the basis of this research.

Capacitated Multimodal Structure of a Green Supply Chain Network Considering Multiple Objectives
In this paper, a supply chain network design problem is explained which contains environmental concerns in arcs and nodes of network. It is assumed that there are some routes such as road, rail and etc. in each pair of nodes. In this model decision variables are choosing facilities to open, environmental investment level in each facility and flow of products between nodes in each route. A multi...
متن کاملModeling different decision strategies in a time tabled multimodal route planning by integrating the quantifier-guided OWA operators, fuzzy AHP weighting method and TOPSIS
The purpose of Multi-modal Multi-criteria Personalized Route Planning (MMPRP) is to provide an optimal route between an origin-destination pair by considering weights of effective criteria in a way this route can be a combination of public and private modes of transportation. In this paper, the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (fuzzy AHP) and the quantifier-guided ordered weighted averaging (...
متن کاملReport from Dagstuhl: SocioPaths - Multimodal Door-to-Door Route Planning via Social Paths
Individual multi-modal trip planning is a major task in transportation science. With increasing availability of new means of transportation personal constraints (e.g. elevator phobia or fear of flying) and preferences (e.g. train over bus) gain higher impact. Existing trip planners are mostly based on static time-tables and roadnetwork data. Furthermore an objective function that covers individ...
متن کاملCollaborative Interaction Concepts for City Planning Tasks in Projection-Based Virtual Reality Systems
In this paper we propose solutions that allow several co-located city planners to perform domain-specific interaction tasks together in one semi-immersive projection-based VR system. After a registration process, e.g., by posing gestures or by using speech commands, this group activity can be performed either in a cooperative mode, i.e., tasks are accomplished consecutively, or in a collaborati...

tem that provides decision support to human planners in a collaborative planning environment. The key contributions of our research on DSIPE are (1) constraint-based, consistent local views of the global plan that give each planner a view of how other planners’ subplans relate to their local planning decisions; (2) methods for automatically identifying and sharing potentially relevant informati...
